TOM 4 - Bio-Medical Optics

Location:
Delft, Netherlands
Duration:
8 October 2018 - 12 October 2018

Chairs

Johannes de Boer,
Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Netherlands)
Jeroen Kalkman,
TU Delft (Netherlands)

Synopsis

The field of biomedical optics has seen a remarkable growth over the past years. Due to a plethora of new techniques such as optical coherence tomography, lightsheet microscopy, fiber sensors, and multi-photon microscopy, we are able to see and sense tissue in ways never been performed before. This topical meeting focuses on bringing together researchers working on new fundamental image and sensing system improvements and clinicians that apply these techniques in practice.
