II International Conference on Applications of Optics and Photonics (AOP2014)

Research in Applications of Optics and Photonics is continuously evolving with remarkable and exciting recent developments in a variety of fields, all over the world. After the success of the first edition in 2011, the Portuguese Society for Research and Development of Optics and Photonics, SPOF, is organizing the II International Conference on Applications in Optics and Photonics, AOP2014, which will be held in  picturesque city of Aveiro, Portugal, on May 26 to 30, 2014.

Technical Scope

The II International Conference on Applications in Optics and Photonics, AOP2014, is a triennial conference organized by the Portuguese Society for Research and Development of Optics and Photonics, SPOF  in its aim of promotion of the development of Optics and Photonics, in general and particularly in Portugal.

In an open friendly environment, this forum will be an excellent opportunity to foster the establishment of the widest range of cooperation projects and relationships with colleagues and institutions from all around the world while promoting Optics and Photonics and its impact in the development of our societies. The exhibit area apart from the display of scientific and technical equipment, will host boots of research labs and industries in order to promote and facilitate the setting-up of future new collaborations.
